During an inspection in response to concerns
services in Newham. The concerns were raised following an incident in which a person
was discharged from the trust's inpatient rehabilitation service but may not have received appropriate follow up care at home.
We spoke to seven people using the service and the relatives of three people who were not well enough to speak to us themselves. People were very positive about the service and valued the treatment and advice they received at home. One person described their care as "marvellous" and said that the staff were "very polite and nice". However, around a third of people we spoke with raised concerns about the timeliness of visits.
People said they had opportunities to raise concerns and feed back their views.
