Condition of this registration relating to carrying out this regulated activity
Within 28 days of the conditions taking effect, the registered provider must ensure a full care needs assessment of every service user receiving a regulated activity within Garson House Care Home is undertaken.
Within 14 days of the conditions taking effect, the registered provider must undertake audits of the following to ensure the effective monitoring of safety, quality and outcomes for all service users:
A - All incidents, accidents and falls
B - Care plans and risk assessments
C - Daily care records
D - Mental capacity assessments
E - Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards (DoLS) applications
F - Recruitment processes
G- Statutory Notifications
H - Fire safety checks
I - Mobility Equipment
Within 14 days of the conditions taking effect, the registered provider must have taken all reasonable steps to ensure suitable arrangements have been made to ensure a current fire risk assessment is completed, mobility equipment is serviced in line with the Lifting Operations and Lifting Equipment Regulations (LOLER) 1998 and that all required Portable Appliance Testing (PAT) is completed. The registered provider must inform the Commission that this has been actioned.
On the first working day of each month the registered provider must send to the Commission a report outlining their audit findings. The report should detail the improvement actions that have been or will be completed, who is responsible for them and the timescale in which the action will be taken.
Terms of this registration relating to carrying out this regulated activity
The Registered Provider must ensure that the regulated activity accommodation for persons who require nursing or personal care is managed by an individual who is registered as a manager in respect of that activity at or from all locations.
