Condition of this registration relating to carrying out this regulated activity

Within 30 days of this notice taking effect, the registered provider must undertake an audit of the following areas:
a) how they have assessed service users’ needs and preferences and in doing so how they have had regard to nationally recognised evidence-based guidance Right Support, Right Care, Right Culture
b) Assessing, mitigating and managing risks associated with service users’ care and treatment needs related to behaviours that challenge;
c) The assessment and management of service users’ seizure risks;
d) Infection Prevent Control (including all recent, up to date government guidance for PPE);
e) The safe management of medicines including staff training and competence in administration, accurate recording and safe storage
f) Accident and Incidents; analysis and regular audits completed with action taken/being taken.
g) How service users’ mental capacity is assessed, consent obtained and best interest decisions made in line with the Mental Capacity Act 2005 Code of Practice.
The registered provider must undertake the audits of these areas monthly thereafter, reporting their findings and actions from the audits to the Commission on the first Monday of every month.

Terms of this registration relating to carrying out this regulated activity

The Registered Provider must ensure that the regulated activity personal care is managed by an individual who is registered as a manager in respect of that activity at or from all locations.
