People's experience of this service
We received positive feedback from people who lived at the service, their relatives, and staff. People told us they felt safe, were comfortable around staff and were able to raise any concerns. They felt protected from the risk of abuse or harm. When possible, people were involved in decisions which affected them, and they were supported to make choices about their care. People were encouraged to be independent and positive risks were taken appropriately. We saw staff listening to people, offering choice and giving them time to respond. There were enough competent staff to meet people’s needs safely, and people knew staff well. People had access to activities and the local community to promote and support their independence, health and wellbeing.
