Caring
People consistently told us staff treated them well. People told us they had been involved in the planning and review of their care and support. People were supported to have choice and control and to make decisions about how their care was provided. Staff told us how they supported people to regain their confidence and demonstrated a good understanding of reablement. The registered manager and staff demonstrated how they had promoted people's independence and supported them to achieve their goals.

Independence, choice and control
People told us how staff promoted their independence. One person told us, “The [Staff] are good, I never felt rushed they let me take my time to do things myself.” People also told us how they were given choices and were involved with the planning of their care.
Staff told us how they supported people to regain their confidence and demonstrated a good understanding of reablement and how they promoted people's independence. Staff told us how they followed people's care plans and provided people with choices and respected people's decisions.
This service provides short term re-ablement packages of care to to people. People agreed the goals they would like to achieve and were also supported with by the providers wider multi disciplinary team to develop their independence. The provider had systems in place to ensure people's progress to achieve their desired goals and outcomes were monitored and supported.
