Condition of this registration relating to carrying out this regulated activity
The registered person must report to Care Quality Commission within 30 working days of the imposition of this condition on its registration, to confirm that it has reviewed and (where appropriate updated) its medicines administration training. This is to ensure that staff are able to meet their responsibilities and the medicines policy.
The registered person must report to Care Quality Commission within 30 working days of the imposition of this condition on its registration, details of the process for checking the ongoing skills and ability of staff to administer medicines.
The registered person must review and update the records of all service users to identify individual risks and develop management plans to control the risks to prevent harm. The registered person must submit a report to the Care Quality Commission on the actions taken or to be taken as a result of this action within 30 working days of the imposition of this condition on the provider�s registration.
The registered person must undertake audits at least once a month of all service users� care plans, risk assessments, recording of mental capacity assessments including best interest decisions, the ongoing daily record keeping and safe medicines administration. The registered person must send to the Care Quality Commission a report at the end of each calendar month, which confirms the dates on which these audits have taken place and include the actions taken or to be taken as a result of these audits.
