On the day of inspection, we received feedback from 10 patients. 10 out of 10 patients we spoke with told us they felt staff respected their privacy and dignity. Staff helped patients to be involved in decisions about their care and gave patients clear information to help them make informed choices about their treatment. Patients said staff were professional, courteous, and considerate. Patients felt they were treated as individuals, and their personal and cultural needs were respected.

Staff were aware of their responsibility to respect people’s diversity and human rights. Staff were aware of the importance of privacy and confidentiality. Leaders described how they supported the wellbeing of staff.

We did not receive any information from partners.

The practice had information governance arrangements and staff were aware of the importance of protecting patients’ personal information. Staff password protected patients’ electronic care records, and paper records were stored securely and complied with General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR). We saw the general environment helped to protect patients’ privacy and dignity. Staff treated patients with kindness, respect and compassion.
