Love In Care is a domiciliary care agency providing personal care to people living in their own homes. At the time of our inspection 59 people received regulated care and support. We carried out our off-site assessment of the service between 28 October and 8 November 2024. This inspection was carried out in response to the age of the previous rating of the service (January 2020). The overall rating for the service has remained good based on the findings of this inspection. We spoke with 3 families of people who received care and 45 staff during the inspection. We reviewed 2 people’s care plans, staff recruitment information and general records for the service. These included staff training records, meeting records, policies and procedures and audits. We expect health and social care providers to guarantee autistic people and people with a learning disability respect, equality, dignity, choices and independence and good access to local communities that most people take for granted. ‘Right support, right care, right culture’ is the guidance CQC follows to make assessments and judgements about services supporting people with a learning disability and autistic people and providers must have regard to it. During this assessment we looked at how people were kept safe from potential risks to their safety, how staff were trained and supervised to support people according to their needs and preferences and how people and their families were involved in their care to ensure their independence was maintained.
