Responsive
People received person-centred care that met their needs. People were happy with the care and support they received, and enjoyed their interactions with their allocated care workers. Staff knew the people they were supporting and provided support in line with what was important for the person.

Person-centred Care
Staff provided people with person-centred care. People were involved in their care and staff respected their preferences. A staff member told us, “We have conversations with the person about how they would like to be supported.” Staff understood how people communicated to ensure their views and opinions were listened to. A staff member said, “We speak with people about their needs and they tell us. The people I support can communicate well.” The registered manager told us, where able, they supported people’s requests to be cared for by staff from the same cultural background to aid communication and care delivery in line with what was important for the person.
People received care that was tailored to their needs. People told us they enjoyed receiving care from staff at CN Healthcare. They said, “Just knowing the girls are coming makes me happy and I know I will have someone to chat to while they are here.” “I couldn’t be happier with what everyone does for me.” “I don’t know how I managed before they used to come, I really look forward to them all coming.”
