Governance, management and sustainability
At the assessment on 30 October 2024, we found the practice had made the following improvements to comply with the regulations: NHS prescriptions were monitored to prevent fraudulent misuse. Cone-beam computed tomography monthly quality assurance tests, known as phantom tests, were carried out at appropriate intervals. Records of monthly emergency lighting tests were kept. Infection prevention and control audits were completed, and shortfalls highlighted had been addressed. We noted that one area remained outstanding. Evidence of the oversight of the standard of cleaning was not available. We were told that visual checks were made but not recorded. We were assured that a formal record would be kept in future.
