Effective
People mostly experienced good outcomes. Staff understood how to monitor and improve health outcomes by following best practice and healthcare advice and guidance.

Monitoring and improving outcomes
Most people experienced good outcomes and had access to healthcare and other services as required. There had been a delay in seeking medical and dental attention for one person who experienced difficulty eating. Their relative had to arrange appointments and ensure they got the medicine required.
Staff were able to describe how they managed people’s needs and reported any known deterioration to senior staff to contact appropriate professionals.
Staff managed diabetes well, and were following guidance for blood sugar monitoring and contacting health are professionals appropriately. Care plans included people's specific conditions such as 'dementia' and guided staff about how this affects people and the best way to react and support. We received positive feedback from some visiting healthcare professionals.
