People and families were encouraged to comment about the quality of the service through satisfaction surveys and regular reviews of their care. Feedback gathered during these processes was reviewed and any actions needed formed part of a service development plan to drive improvement at the service.

Staff told us they were invited to complete questionnaires and provide feedback via staff meetings and supervision. One told us, “I feel listened to, and I can give my views, opinions and ideas.” Staff said they felt well supported and 1 commented, “The manager is very caring and a good role model. They are easy to talk to and I would happily discuss any concerns I had. I would feel confident that they would deal with any concerns thoroughly.” Staff were aware of the Whistle blowing policy and would be happy to raise concerns if needed.

People were encouraged to provide feedback about the care and support provided. A relative told us, “I have the managers number so I could call them at any time. I have been asked to give feedback and so far I have found the service to be very good. The staff always treat [family member with respect and the carers always explain what they are going to do before they undertake any tasks. I am very satisfied.”
