Responsive
We assessed 1 quality statement in the responsive key question and found areas of good practice. The scores for these areas have been combined with scores based on the rating from the last inspection, which was inadequate. Though the assessment of this area indicated areas of good practice since the last inspection, our rating for the key question is requires improvement. People were involved in their care planning and their preferences, likes and needs were recorded. People's equality and diversity needs were respected. Staff worked in line with these and demonstrated a commitment to promoting people’s rights and choices.

Equity in experiences and outcomes
People told us they felt supported and empowered by staff. One person told us, “Staff are kind, caring and involve me in all aspects of my care.” One relative said, “[Person] is supported by a consistent staff team and is safe.”
Staff demonstrated a commitment to promoting people’s rights and choices when supporting them.
People’s care record included consideration of their wishes, beliefs and religion. Staff had received training in equality and diversity. The providers' policies and procedures prompted inclusion and diversity and reflected protected characteristics as defined by the Equality Act 2010.
